Guardianship of Elders

Guardianship of the elderly means being appointed as the caretaker for a person that is incapable of providing for him or herself.  This includes making medical and financial decisions, as well as personal care and daily activities.  Attaining Guardianship of an elder can ensure that they live a comfortable, caring life.  Guardianship of an elderly relative can be an option if they do not have a power of attorney or advanced directive in place.
