Can I share a document with a collaborator?

You can share any document that you've created, if you need a collaborator to see it. Please note that only people with memberships or a 7 Day Free Trial can share their documents with collaborators.

To share your document, you will first want to log in to your account. By default, you will be directed to your "Activities" panel. If you are already logged in and need to access your activities, click on the words "Rocket Lawyer" in the top, left corner. 

1. Click the title of the document that you need to share. 

2. At the top of your document, you will see an orange banner of buttons. The very last one says, "Share." Click on that.

3. Enter the name and email address of your collaborator. 

4. Click share. Your collaborator will receive an email with access to your document, but they will not be able to make any changes. They will need to have a Rocket Lawyer account to view the document, but they do not need to be in any paid memberships.
