Connecticut No-Fault Divorce

The State of Connecticut still requires that a couple find grounds or reason for a divorce. However, Connecticut does offer a no-fault grounds for divorce: incompatibility (expressed by voluntary separation for 18 months) and irretrievable breakdown of marriage.
